TIPS IN DE BUURT:
Stokstraat is a pleasant pedestrianised street whose attractive restored houses from the 17 and 18 century, are decorated with pediments, stone façades, and shop signs and contain art, antique and print shops. At number 28, there is a façade decorated with sculpted friezes. On a small square called Op de Thermen, a paving shows the site of the old Roman baths whose remains were discovered in 1840.
